Yeah, well - I mean, I know you're not certain about this whole not being there, but a halfblood kid isn't complete dirt you know? I mean, you could still be around for him occasionally. And look at me. A Halfblood kid could still be pretty well respected in society - you've just got to have an actual pureblood one to carry on the family line.
